A leader who is not afraid to make the difficult decisions.
OUR CITY IS AT A CRITICAL JUNCTURE. WE NEED TO USE THESE GOOD TIMES TO PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE:
Crystal Dingler has worked for over 30 years in public and private enterprises. She has served Ocean Shores for over 8 years as a City Councilmember and Mayor. She has taken on whatever jobs needed doing and fought for our needs.
OCEAN SHORES IS A CITY
In 2010 our population was 5,569. Today it is 6,500 and growing.
That's an increase of 17% in less than 10 years.
Five years ago we could not borrow money and today we have a surplus.
Four years ago the State gave us 100% of the grant money to build the Razor Clam Bridge, because we did not have the matching funds.
Three years ago we had 79 residential housing starts, this year we are headed for 175 residential housing starts.
Four years ago we received a SAFER grant to bring in 7 new firefighter/EMS positions and two years ago we permanently filled all 7 new full-time positions. Today, we are already short-handed.
One year ago we decided to hire a City Administrator and today he is on duty and after three months on the job, taking on management of the Departments.
Vote for stability and experience. Vote for Crystal Dingler for Mayor.
